Our Beliefs

Our beliefs form the foundation of everything we do. These are the core doctrines that shape our faith.

The Bible—comprising the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments—is the divinely inspired, written Word of God. It is a revelation from God about Himself, His creation and humanity. The original manuscripts are free from all errors and contradictions. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters that it addresses.

2 Timothy 3:16 • 2 Peter 1:20-21 • Hebrews 1:1-2 • 1 Thessalonians 2:13 • Psalm 119:160; 12:6 • Matthew 5:18 • Isaiah 40:8

There is one holy, infinitely perfect and relational God—the transcendent Creator and sovereign Sustainer of the universe—who exists eternally in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each of the three Persons are of one and the same co-equal, co-eternal divine essence—yet are distinct in their roles and personhood.

Deuteronomy 6:4 • Isaiah 6:3 • Matthew 5:48 • Genesis 1:1 • Colossians 1:16-17 • Hebrews 1:3 • Psalms 90:2 • Matthew 28:19 • 2 Corinthians 13:14 • John 1:1 • John 10:30 • John 14:16-17

God created humanity in His image—reflecting His spiritual, rational, moral, and relational nature. As the crown of His creation, all human beings have transcendent, intrinsic worth. Humanity was created to exist eternally. Because of the Fall, every person is corrupted by sin, which separates them from God. Reconciliation with God is only possible through faith in Jesus Christ.

Genesis 1:27 • Psalm 8:5 • Ecclesiastes 3:11 • Romans 5:12 • Romans 3:23 • Romans 8:7 • Isaiah 59:2 • Romans 5:18-19 • 1 Timothy 2:5 • John 14:6

Jesus Christ is the eternally begotten Son of God who took on human nature, being fully man without ever ceasing to be fully God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and performed miracles. He died on the cross, making a full and satisfactory atonement for humanity’s sin through the shedding of His blood. He rose bodily from the dead on the third day, ascended to heaven, is currently seated at the right hand of God the Father as our Intercessor, and shall return again to this earth someday.

John 1:1-2 • John 1:14 • Colossians 2:9-10 • Philippians 2:6-7 • Isaiah 9:6 • Luke 1:35 • Matthew 1:22-23 • 1 Peter 2:22 • Hebrews 4:14-15 • Matthew 4:23 • Acts 2:22 • 1 Peter 3:18 • 1 Corinthians 15:3-5 • Matthew 28:6 • Acts 1:9-11 • Romans 8:34 • 1 Timothy 2:5 • John 14:3 • Hebrews 9:28

Humanity can never achieve deliverance from sin and its consequences through good works. The Father, being perfectly just, must administer justice for sin. Yet in His mercy, He sovereignly bridged the gap between Himself and humanity by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to bear the full penalty for the sins of all who believe. Through the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Father’s justice is fully satisfied. Salvation is offered as a free gift of grace and is received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, reconciling to God all who believe.

Romans 3:20 • Ephesians 2:8-9 • Psalm 7:11 • Romans 3:25-26 • Isaiah 53:5 • Romans 5:8 • 1 John 2:2 • Romans 4:25 • Romans 5:1 • John 1:12-13 • Romans 10:9-10 • John 14:6 • Colossians 1:21-22 • Acts 3:19

The Holy Spirit is present in the world to convict humanity of their sins, of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment. At the moment of salvation, the Holy Spirit indwells and regenerates believers, empowering them to live righteously and guiding them into all truth. He also distributes spiritual gifts to believers, equipping them for service and building up the Church. Believers are called to be continuously led by the Holy Spirit.

John 16:8-11 • John 3:3-7 • Titus 3:5 • 2 Corinthians 5:17 • Romans 8:11 • Acts 1:8 • 1 Corinthians 6:19 • Romans 8:9 • Ephesians 4:11-12 • 1 Peter 1:2 • 1 Corinthians 12:4-7 • John 15:26 • John 16:13 • Galatians 5:16 • Romans 8:14 • Galatians 5:25

The Church is the spiritual body of Jesus Christ, with Him as the Head—encompassing all true believers from every place and people, unified through faith in Him. Its primary purpose is to glorify God through worship, preaching the Gospel, and building up believers in faith through teaching, fellowship, and service. It actively pursues the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations.

1 Corinthians 12:12-27 • Ephesians 1:22-23 • Colossians 1:18 • Ephesians 2:19-22 • John 4:23 • Acts 2:42 • Ephesians 4:11-16 • Matthew 28:19-20 • Mark 16:15 • John 17:11 • Peter 2:9

Jesus Christ will return to Earth to establish His eternal Kingdom at a future undisclosed date. He will resurrect all of humanity to complete the process of salvation and judgment. All people will be judged based on their choices on Earth and confirmed therein—those who have accepted God’s gift of salvation will enjoy eternal life with Him in a new perfect world, while those who have rejected Him will face judgment and punishment for their sins, and will exist in a place of eternal separation from God and from the new perfect world.

Acts 1:11 • Matthew 24:36 • John 5:28-29 • Acts 24:15 • Daniel 12:2 • 2 Corinthians 5:10 • 1 Peter 4:5 • Matthew 25:31-34 • John 14:2-3 • Revelation 21:1 • Philippians 3:21 • Matthew 13:49–50 • Matthew 25:41-46 • 2 Thessalonians 1:9 • Revelation 21:8 • Revelation 20:15

Baptism

Water baptism is a symbolic act of obedience that outwardly expresses a believer’s identification with Jesus Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection, testifying of a believer’s inward transformation and publicly signifying their commitment to follow Him.

Matthew 28:18-20 • Mark 16:16 • Acts 2:38 • Romans 6:3-4 • Colossians 2:12

The Lord’s Supper

The Lord’s Supper was instituted by Jesus Christ as a reminder for believers of the New Covenant established through His body and blood sacrificed on the Cross. It serves as a memorial of His sacrifice and encourages believers to reflect on its implications for their faith and lives in anticipation of His return.
